In accordance with notification requirements under Section 39(2) of the Provincial Act and Section 29(2) of the municipal Act, the HRPS will be deploying Closed Circiut Television Cameras (CCTV) at Spencer Smith Park during the Sound of Music Festival from Friday, July 11, 2025, through to and including Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

The goal is to utilize closed circuit television cameras for the purposes of law enforcement and public safety, by detecting and deterring criminal activity, while balancing the public's right to privacy.
