In accordance with notification requirements under Section 39(2) of the Provincial Act and Section 29(2) of the municipal Act, the HRPS will be deploying Closed Circiut Television Cameras (CCTV) at Lakeshore Road West and East Street in Oakville for Victoria Day Celebrations May 16-25, 2025.

The goal is to utilize closed circuit television cameras for the purposes of law enforcement and public safety, by detecting and deterring criminal activity, while balancing the public's right to privacy.
