Event Details:

In accordance with notification requirements under Section 39(2) of the Provincial Act and Section 29(2) of the municipal Act, the HRPS will be deploying Closed Circiut Television Cameras (CCTV) at Spencer Smith Park during the Burlington Ribfest from Thursday, August 30, 2024, through to and including Monday, September 2, 2024.

The goal is to utilize closed circuit television cameras for the purposes of law enforcement and public safety, by detecting and deterring criminal activity, while balancing the public's right to privacy.
