To help grow partnerships with members of Halton Region's diverse and growing community, the Halton Regional Police Service holds numerous special public events throughout the year. The events are designed to appeal to people of all ages and interests and to enhance understanding between the public and the police.

Popular among these is Police Day, held annually on the second Saturday in May at Police Headquarters.

This year's Police Day will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024 (rain or shine) from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 2485 North Service Road West, Oakville.

The afternoon-long celebration of local policing offers visitors an opportunity to learn first-hand about law enforcement through a series of interactive displays and presentations.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 12:30 p.m. sharp.
