In accordance with notification requirements under Section 39(2) of the Provincial Act and Section 29(2) of the municipal Act, the HRPS will be deploying Closed Circiut Television Cameras (CCTV) at Oakville Town Hall during the Town Hall Meeting from Monday, February 26, 2024, through to and including Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

The goal is to utilize closed circuit television cameras for the purposes of law enforcement and public safety, by detecting and deterring criminal activity, while balancing the public's right to privacy.
